Video Analyst (M.Sc.) He was born in Athens in 1983 and has been involved in sports since the age of 7. A former athlete of swimming, shot-putting, high jump, football and basketball at local level and a subsequent student at the Faculty of Physical Education and Sport Science of the University of Athens.
STUDIES
He gave up sports at the age of 21, when he followed the science of mechanical video analysis of athletic movements. Since then he has kept up with all the developments and new technologies in this field (Sports Biomechanics) and is currently completing the respective postgraduate course of the Faculty of Physical Education and Sport Science. He has made 4 presentations in congresses on the sport science. For the time being, he is occupied with his doctoral thesis (clinical biomechanics) and an essay (2D video analysis in sports). He has also been a collaborator in the instruction of the respective laboratory subject to undergraduate students of the Faculty of Physical Education and Sport Science.
PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
He has worked as a fitness & health trainer in 5 gyms and as a football and basketball coach in respective academies. These days he is working as a technical consultant in organizing academies for local football teams and in scouting for sport talents in the divisions of South Attica and Islands. In Target Sport sports management company he carries out the technical & clinical evaluation of athletes at national level and prepares players’ match analysis scouting reports.
